DescriptionOne of two spherical bronze vessels numbered 19-3-1551. Looped handles and hinged lid. The body of the jar is now fragmentary and in many small pieces. The neck and handle survive.
ProvenanceFrom el-Kurru, grave LXII. 1919: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of the Sudan.
