DescriptionThis globular, almost bag-shaped jar has a rounded base, short neck, and slightly pulled, bevelled rim. The neck is adorned with a band of joining incised triangles (points downward) with hatched interiors.
ProvenanceFrom Kerma, Cemetery N, grave 97. 1916: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
