This globular jar has a rounded base and a slight neck effectively formed by the upward pull of a straight, slightly flaring rim. The rim has some blackening.
From Kerma, Cemetery S, grave 1088. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
