The jar and the stand are one piece.The base of the stand is flat, and the rim is rolled and everted.There is a molded band around the base of the jar and the top of the stand.The interior is gouged out.The surface is worn.It is complete.
From Egypt, Giza. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
