DescriptionThe oviform cup rests on a trumpet-shaped stem with a square base. The cup is raised, and the stem is formed from two raised sections. The base is assembled from strips of sheet. The borders of the base and the rim of the cup are engraved with springs and scrolling foliage. The stem is bent.

On base, in three corners, maker's mark CC (posibly Grimwade 282); lion passant; leopard's head crowned; date letter r; sovereign's head.
InscriptionsEngraved in monogram on side, "IEB / 1798"; engraved in monogram on other side, "EHS / to / ET / 1898".
