DescriptionOne of eleven pieces of taste (fine silk ribbon); two pieces of early velvet; four pieces of taffeta ribbon; five pieces of satin ribbon; three pieces of wire ribbon; one piece of silver gimp. One piece is such as was used to trim men's coats about 1770. These pieces are all small and mounted together on one screen. [Second card with same accession number: Gold and silver. Two pieces, one of gold and one of silver gimp.]
