DescriptionThis ivory object is either a hair pin or kohl stick. It has been decorated with two thick bands of an incised cross-hatch pattern and dividing lines at the top. Ttwo deeply incised lines below divide the pin roughly into thirds.
ProvenanceFrom el-Amrah. 1901: Excavated by the Egypt Exploration Fund; assigned to the Egypt Exploration Fund by the government of Egypt; given to the MFA by the Egypt Exploration Fund.
