This hand axe of dark gray stone has some bright orange lettering on it reading “14/100” and “M11”(?).

Provenance

Khor Ambukol. (ASN 14/100). 1907: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; awarded to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
