Hand candlestick, cast with a shaped squared pan and banded rim. Spool shaped nozzle is banded. The short curved handle is molded with two scrolls rising to a curved terminal.

Inscription

Maison Commune, Bayonne about 1761: a crowned S (Helft, 196). Other: Reconnaissance Bayonne, about 1750-1770 a crowned AB (Helft, 196); Part of a crown, therest illegible.
