DescriptionLeg fragment of a shallow cosmetic tripod bowl, each in the form of a sphinx. The head is still visible on this fragment, and part of the bowl is preserved at the attachment. There is a hole drilled horizontally through the body of the figure (below and just behind shoulder level), the sides of which are filed quite flat, perhaps for the joining of another piece.
