DescriptionThis is a somewhat wide, shallow hemispherical bowl that is treated with a thick red slip on both interior and exterior surfaces.
ProvenanceFrom Nuri, Pyramid 31 (tomb of Queen Sakaaye), stairs. Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
