The fragment has been broken or cut off and dressed (perhaps in post-antique times) irregularly through the upper shoulders. The surfaces are somewhat weathered.
The drilling of the eyes, which is undoubtedly ancient, indicates a date in the second or third centuries A.D.
Farnese Hercules type.
