DescriptionFine white linen gathered into short strip of bobbin lace (Mechlin type) at back. Flounce around face made of two pieces joined in middle by narrow band of bobbin lace (Mechlin type) with a rozetted, stripes, and small geometric ornaments on each side worked in satin-stitch, drawn-work,etc. with white linen thread. Small geometric figuresworked on cap. Cap and flounce edged with bobbin lace (Valenciennes type).
