DescriptionInfant's cap of sheer white linen arranged in horizontal bands of drawn work and embroidery worked with white linen thread in minute lozenge and zig-zag patterns, in center back of cap crown fullness gathered and smocked into central bobbin lace roundel extending from roundel to center back bottom edge and center front edge of cap a band of bobbin lace, over forehead four minute casings with fine plaited linen drawstrings.
