Infant’s dress of white cambric, very short waisted, wide flaring square cut neck with drawstrings in front and back, dress open down entire length of back, drawstring in waist, skirt front embroidered with white line thread in allm over powder of minute floral sprigs and paired dots, two panels forming the back of skirt, plain ground with border design embroidered with white linen thread consisting of repeat of small-scale stylized leaves and berries arranged in a crescent shape, same border design on bottom edge of front panel, all skirt edges and edges of sleeves finished with minute pointed scallops.
