Square cut neck with drawstrings front and back, short flaring sleeves with fullness gathered into shoulder bands, open part way down back with fullness of back gathered by narrow tape drawstring at waist line in back only, front of dress entirely plain, edges of sleeves and bottom of dress trimmed with horizontal narrow bands of drawn work with superimposed embroidery, eyelet embroidery and lines of minute triangles sewn of double thickness of same material as dress, side seams embroidered; tender, front repaired at M.F.A.
