DescriptionHigh waisted bodice, wide square cut neck, fullness dof bodice at back gathered into waist band, short puffed sleeves with three pointed capes over sleeves, "V" shaped panel in center front of bodice embroidered with white linen thread, central stylized carnation and feathery foliage framed by berries and minute round blossoms in eyelet stitch, similar panel in center back of bodice, on points of shoulder capes same motive as on center of bodice front, around waist and down sides of center front panel of skirt bands of eyelet insertion, embroidered border all around bottom of skirt of floral sprays with widely spreading feathery foliage, blossoms with petals of net semi-circular in shape with same motives as those in the border, finished with minute pointed scallops on all edges; stained down front, and some stains eaten away.
