DescriptionThis is the top and proper left side of the base of a sculpture with the toes of the left foot of a figure and some illegible incised hierogylphs. The stone is black granodiorite with small evenly distributed white and black biotite inclusions (may be diorite). GD3.
ProvenanceFrom Nubia (Sudan), Kerma, K IV B debris. 1914: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
