DescriptionFrench, about 1875-1880. Skirt with short train in back, made of ivory moire, center front of white figured satin woven in deep border design of large-scale roses, symmetrical draperies and insects in interspaces, center back and train of plain moire, side panels of moire shirred and flounced, heavily lined and interlined, bustle arrangement in back formed by laces underneath skirt.
