3/4 length with narrow sleeves terminating in a point. Fabric: small, Persian-style leaf and floral motifs in applied gold (aspect gaufré) on dark green silk velvet. Edged with contrasting fabric of silver-printed white silk. Venetian glass bead buttons. Label: “Mariano Fortuny Venise.” Condition: very good.
Donor said purchased in 1937, made for her according to daughter in law, Betsy Collier.
