Obverse: Joan of Arc in armor on horseback facing to proper right, praying with hands clasped and a banner behind; castle and walls in background; inscribed above “AVANT LA BATAILLE” and in exergue “E·MOUCHON”.

Reverse: Inscribed above crossed lilies and branches “A/LA GLOIRE/IMPÉRISSABLE DE/JEANNE DARC./LA VIERGE/HÉROÏQVE ET MARTYRE/L’ANGE DE/LA PATRIE FRANÇAISE”.
