This flat-bottomed jug has a single handle terminating at the top in a female head and arms, and at the base in the head of the goddess.

Provenance

From Meroe (Beg. W), tomb W 354/4. 1923: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
