“Base ring ware.” Dull red clay with thin black slip, burned red in spots. Ovoid body; high cylindrical neck with flaring lip; strap handle from body to upper part of neck; base ring. Decoration in white, rubbed; two groups of encircling lines on the neck and two more on lower part of body; on upper part of body groups of vertical lines from plastic ring at base of neck across upper group of horizontal lines.
