DescriptionTsuji banzuke for the kabuki dramas "Yoshitsune senbon-zakura", "Sekitori senryô nobori", and "Somekaete ukiyo no edozuma". These were staged at the Nakamura Theater (Edo) from the 7th day of the 7th lunar month of Ansei 6 (1859). The day's program also included the Jôruri play "Uchikobosu ame ni nuregoto". The banzuke was published by Ogawa Hansuke.

[1] Much of Bigelow's collection of Asian art was formed during his residence in Japan between 1882 and 1889, although he also made acquisitions in Europe and the United States. Bigelow deposited many of these objects at the MFA in 1890 before donating them to the Museum's collection at later dates.
