The cylindrical dredger is formed from sheet with an inset base and a molded fabricated foot. An ear-shaped handle, formed from flat, molded wire, is applied to one side. The removable domed cover, formed from sheet with a molded wire rim, is pierced with plain small holes in a geometric pattern.

On underside, maker's mark FL (similar to Grimwade 694)(repeated on underside of cover); Britannia; lion's head erased; date letter K
