The stone is fine-grained and wavy-lined. The base is flat and splayed, and the rim is flattened and everted. It is worn on the sides. The rim is broken and mended. There is no lid. Fragments are missing.

From Zawyet el-Aryan, Grave Z 56. 1910-11: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
