DescriptionThe base of this kohl jar is flat and splayed, and the rim is flattened and everted. The disc-shaped lid is made from a reddish potsherd. It was chipped in antiquity. The jar is about half filled with black kohl powder. There are remains of rawhide and rawhide thong on the neck.
