Description(Venice: Giovanni Ostaus, 1567) Oblong quarto; 40 leaves; contemporary limp vellum, beige cloth box.

Illustrations: Lucretia by Giuseppe Salviati (fol. A2v); lace patterns and various subjects suitable for ornamental patterns.

Third edition. The woodcut of Lucretia on fol. A2v is signed and dated 1557 by Giuseppe Salviati. The ornamental designs on pls. LIIII and LIX are after engravings by Heinrich Aldegrever (New Hollstein 243, 262, 275, and 282; the top design on pl. LIX is after Virgil Solis (Bartsch 472).
