Painted paper central medallion on Binche bobbin lace leaf. Obverse: painted pastoral scene of man presenting flower to woman, woman with staff watching. Reverse: simple pastoral scene with shepherdess with staff. Sixteen carved and pierced ivory sticks with red and blue painted details: medallion with figures center blades, floral motif surrounds, mother-of-pearl backing; man with staff and flower-basket and floral motifs on guards, rose mother-of-pearl backing. Diamond paste studs in rivet.
