Leaf of Duchesse and point de Gaze lace in floral design surrounding three painted white silk vignettes: pastoral scene with two small figures by lake with poplars, left; three cupids among flowers, center, signed “Jolivet”; floral swag, right. Fourteen carved and etched mother-of-pearl blades below shoulders and guards in conventionalized design with flower baskets; pierced ivory blades above shoulders. Stylized brass ring with loop for tassel.
