DescriptionThe dial, watch case surround, and links are made of wood. Each link has two, gold-lined borings for attachment to gold spacers. The name of the Greek jewelry firm, Zolotas, is at the top of the dial and the name of the Parisian watch maker, Barthelay, is at the bottom.

Impressed French export mark (profile head of Mercury) and Swiss import mark (lynx head with assay numbers) on the underside of the watch works; impressed assay marks--0.750 and 18 KT GOLD--on the underside of the watch works; impressed diamond-shaped French maker's mark (S and B separated by a swan) on underside of the watch surround.
