This redware lamp has a yellow-gray slip and marks of use. The upper portions has molded decoration (botainical motif, fruit, etc.). It is intact.

Provenance

From Nuri, Pyramid 24 (tomb of Queen Nasalsa), stairway. 1918: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
