DescriptionEcclesiastical Costume. Lappets. The Annunciation. At the base, Gabriel, on (b), holding lilies and standing on a cloud faces toward Mary, on (a). She is surrounded by stars (?), a dove descends toward her from a cloud. Above them Armenian inscriptions in short rows one above the other. All metal wire embroidery on a red satin-satin-silk ground. A pair of tassels on the bottom of each. Good condition. For the Armenian Church.
