Combed ware shoulder jar. Flat base, plain, everted rim, narrow neck. White surface deposits. Two handles flank the body. Scored criss-cross decoration on surface. Chip at rim, hole in body, otherwise in good condition. Light colored fabric.

Packing straw removed when cleaned on 2/2/04.

From Giza, tomb G 1031 A (G 14 Pot 10). 1913-1914: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; 1920: assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
