This bowl/basin is fashioned of a light reddish clay fabric. It has a generally rounded base with a small recessed area at the center the provides its primary sitting surface. The rim is slightly rolled. It is intact.

Provenance

From Nuri, Pyramid 15 (tomb of Nastasen)). 1920: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
