Painted by Emile Lessore (1805–1874). Lead-glazed cream-colored earthenware, painted in polychrome enamels. Scene of Venus, sea gods and nymphs, putti, and dolphins. Mark: WEDGWOOD impressed; signed Emile Lessore in script on front. circular footring has two holes for hanging.
