This bag-shaped black-topped redware jar is almost of beaker-like proportions. It has a rounded base and a straight, unworked rim.

Provenance

From Nubia (Egypt). Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
