This large globular jar shows some irregularities caused during shaping. The body is almost cylindrical, narrowing at the bottom to a small round base. The jar has a short, slightly concave neck with a straight rim.

Provenance

From Nuri. Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
