This is a large tall bag-shaped jar with a small flat base, a wide, slightly concave neck with rilling lines, and a straight folded rim. It is currently filled with packing straw (which obscures other contents, if any).
From Kerma, Cemetery S, Tumulus IV, grave 411. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
