DescriptionLarge ovoid jar with modeled, rolled rim, tubular neck, and pointed base: reassembled from sherds and further reconstructed. The body of the jar was handmade, perhaps through coiling. The rim and neck were manufactured on the slow wheel or similar turning device. The exterior has a thin cream slip which was unevenly and irregularly applied. // GPMP type AB7. // 34-4-3, though smoothing of the exterior is a bit better in this example.
