Serrated diamond and cross pattern tapestry woven on deep red cochineal raveled ground in natural ivory, indigo, green, tan (homespun), and light violet wool yarns.

According to Skinner Auction house, Collected by Charles Owen, Connecticut civil engineer in the Southwest during the early 1870s; sold to a private dealer; auctioned at Skinner Gallery July 8, 1988; Gift to the MFA, September 28, 1988
