DescriptionRectangular piece of cloth, possibly a manuscript cover, with design of narrow strips of green, black, yellow, blue and pinkish purple silk taffeta stitched edge to edge, with variegated cord covering seams, each strip embroidered with polychrome silks, in small stitches, showing a row of wheels flanked by rows of leaves; lined with coarse printed plain-weave cotton, rusty pink in color. Indications of a binding tape along edges, no longer present.
