DescriptionTextile panel probably from a garment, patched with three small pieces. Red warp and pale yellow weft bicolor damask ground, brocaded with polychrome silks and gold (now tarnished) and silver yarns. "Bizarre" design showing twisted columns and balusters on tables, supporting rectangular cabinets and pots of flowers. Fantastic forms on small consoles in interspaces. Parts of narrow corded selvedges at each side.
