Circular medal of Pope Leo XIII (1810-1903).

Obverse: Profile bust of Leo XIII looking to proper right; inscribed at edge “LEO·XIII·PONT·MAX·AN·IV·” and under bust “[ ]·BIANCHI”.

Reverse: Personification of the Christian church standing, holding cross and keys with two children on each side and rays of light above; inscribed at edge “IVENTVTI·RELIGIONE·ET·BONIS·ARTIBVS·INSTITVENDAE” and in exergue “PARATA·IN·VRBE/SCHOLAR·SVBSITIA/A·MDCCCLXXXI”.
