Circular medal of Leopold I (1640-1705), Holy Roman Emperor, commemorating his victory against the Turkish army near Vienna. Cast and chased in high relief.

Obverse: Half-lenght portrait of Leopold, frontal, in armor and cloak, wig, holding scrol; inscribed at edge in two bands “LEOPOLDVS DEI GRATIA ELECTVS ROMANORVM IMPERATOR SEMPER AVGVSTVS.GERMANIAE HVNGARIAE.BOHEMIAE.DALMATIAE.CROATIAE/WIRTEMBERGAE, COMES TYROLS, SCLAVONIAE, REX:ARCHIDVX AVSTRIAE, DVX BVRGVNDLAE, STIRIAE, CARINTHIAE, CAR”.
