DescriptionThis is a disc-shaped lid made of graying sandstone with buff to pink highlights. One side is flat, while the opposite is convex. It is slightly irregular in its shaping.
ProvenanceFrom Kerma, Cemetery S, 3A. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
