Linen square, hemmed on all sides. Undyed tabby-woven linen ground, embroidered with violet-brown and yellow-brown silk in long flat stitches resembling inlaid weaving. Four narrow bands, one parallel to each side, with feathery edges and a looping, meandering line down center. Direction of stitch coresponds only in opposite bands. Soiled, incrustations, holes.
