DescriptionBrownish-green glazed clay, somewhat weathered. Lion, head turned to left jaws open, stands on square base over pedestal with applied stylized flower at each side, lion mask at front, ruffles on vertical edges.
Provenance1958, Charles Ratton, Paris, France; 1958 sold by Ratton to the MFA for $1,000. (Accession Date: October 9, 1958)
