This appears to be a decoration for attachment to an object. A crouching (Abyssinian) lioness, with forepaw raised, is resting on the head of an ass. This is set on a rectangular, molded pedestal.
The color is brassy. The bottom of the pedestal is hollow, and a large tang fills the middle, extending below the lower molding.
