DescriptionEcclesiastical ornament. Liturgical fan (Flabellum). Painted vellum plaited to form circle; bands at center and edge, flowers in blues and reds on both sides. Ivory handle, buttons at center; set with tiny plaques of mother-of-pearl and neilloed silver gilt.
